OUR STORY

What began as a lifelong passion for gardening and flowers has grown into a dream fulfilled.

Nestled on ten acres in Holt, Missouri, Solomon's Splendor was founded from a love of God's creation and a desire to share its beauty with others. For years, we dreamed of creating a place where flowers could flourish naturally, where the land could be stewarded well, and where families could experience the joy that fresh flowers bring.

Our name comes from Luke 12:27:

"Consider how the wild flowers grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these."

These words remind us that God's creativity and provision are reflected throughout creation. Every bloom, every season, and every harvest points to His handiwork.

At Solomon's Splendor, we strive to grow flowers using mostly organic and nature-friendly practices. We focus on building healthy soil, supporting the natural microbiome, and working with creation rather than against it. We believe good stewardship means caring for the land we've been entrusted with while growing flowers that can be enjoyed by our community.

We're a family-run farm, with occasional helping hands from our grandchildren, and we love sharing what we're learning along the way. Through our flowers, blog, and future offerings, we hope to inspire others to cultivate beauty in their own homes and gardens.
